Social media play a vital role to bring about a change in the mindsets of people who consider visually challenged people, especially visually challenged women a burden, incapable of taking care of themselves and their families.
One of the aims of the competition is to spread awareness about challenges as well as strengths of the visually impaired individuals. It is not just a stage for showing their culinary skills, it is a stage to send out a strong message of their resilience and independence.
This year we received a total 32 entries from 11 countries including India. With past successful editions, the enthusiastic response this year has also been highly appreciated.
